Brandon Chen is a biomedical engineer and founder of Sensure, a medtech venture developing sensor-enabled and AI-assisted tools that digitize tactile procedural skills in medicine. His work integrates neuroscience, biosignal processing, and human-machine interaction to enhance how clinicians learn and perform needle-based procedures.
Brandon has led multidisciplinary teams across hardware, software, and clinical research, advancing Sensure from early prototyping to pilot collaborations with universities and hospitals. He is currently raising early-stage funding to expand product validation and market entry.
His experience spans biodesign thinking, user-driven innovation, and healthcare translation, with a focus on turning complex ideas into usable, scalable solutions. As a mentor, he supports students in bridging AI, clinical insight, and entrepreneurship, guiding them through discovery, rapid prototyping, and validation.
